Z88-Link by Kevin Millican - FREEWARE.

This is a windows replacement for the DOS PC-LINK program supplied with the Z88 PC-LINK cartridge.

Works on any COM port and is extremely simple to use. Files can be sent and received to/from any directory on Z88 or PC. Z88 files and directory lists look similar to Windows standard.

When I wrote this I was hoping that it would also speed up transfer times. It did, but I had to limit the PC->Z88 transfer speed to avoid the PC getting too far ahead of the Z88. The program is set to send data at a rate just about 1% faster than the Z88 can handle (still incredibly slow) and has a 32KB output buffer. This ensures maximum transfer speeds AND keeps Z88-Link in fairly good sync. with the Z88. On large binary files (say 50KB) you will probably see a message reporting "Waiting for the Z88.." for about 5 seconds before the Z88 directory updates.
